Materials: Contact Paper, Nature
Directions:
Open and set your sheet of contact paper on the sidewalk, sticky side up.
Collect different items in your yard (leaves, grass, flowers, etc.) to press into the contact paper.
Fold it in half, sticky sides together, when you are finished.
Trim and hang it up.
Creating a nature collage was so much fun! Extend this activity for older kids by making a mosaic with leaves on the contact paper or making letters with stems and grass.
Fun idea - especially with Autumn right around the corner!
ReplyDeleteWe used to do this with autumn leaves and my kids loved it. We also cut the valentines they received one year into tiny pieces and made collages out of those too.
ReplyDeleteThis one is definetly a keeper.
ReplyDeleteI love nature activities.. this is great! We have plenty of clear contact paper here, so we'll give it a try too!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like so much fun! I am sure my son would love to do this too! :)
