Baby Activity - Pumpkin Songs

Here is a pumpkin rhyme and a pumpkin song that B loved when he was around 12-18 months. I bet he'd actually still like them. I think I'll sing them with him today.

Pumpkin, Pumpkin

Pumpkin, pumpkin
Sitting on the wall. (Child sits on the floor.)
Pumpkin, pumpkin
Tip and fall. (Child tips and falls over.)
Pumpkin, pumpkin
Rolling down the street. (Child rolls on the floor.)
Pumpkin, pumpkin
Trick - or - Treat.

Pumpkin Play (tune: If You're Happy and You Know It)

Put your pumpkin on your head, on your head.
Put your pumpkin on your head, on your head.
Now slowly walk around--
Don't let it touch the ground.
Put your pumpkin on your head, on your head.

Put your pumpkin on your knee, on your knee.
Put your pumpkin on your knee, on your knee.
Now hold your knee up high--
You can balance if you try.
Put your pumpkin on your knee, on your knee.

Put your pumpkin on the floor, on the floor.
Put your pumpkin on the floor, on the floor.
Now march all around--
your pumpkin on the ground.
Put your pumpkin on the floor, on the floor.

****We used a small plastic pumpkin as a prop for this song.
