Printable Halloween Grid Game

I made this candy corn math mat for B to go along with his passion for candy corn lately. I got out the spinner (I'm going to try dice next time) and had him spin to put the candy corn on the mat. He couldn't eat any of the candy until the mat was filled up so he was in such a hurry that this part didn't go as planned. However, Dad made it a fun game to eat them. After he ate one Dad would say "You ate ANOTHER one? How many do you have left?" and they would count.

**Documents updated 9/22/12 - Documents will look different than pictured above.

Don't want to use candy for the counters? Try erasers, cereal, fruit snacks, crackers, pieces of paper, stickers, etc.

  5. A fun hands on activity, I like the fact that you could substitute the candy for so many other things. Although, using candy would be enjoyable.
