Muffin Tin Monday - Red

Red Lollipop, Red Gumball, Cherry Yogurt, Heart Sandwich and Jelly to dip, Applesauce with sprinkles

This week's Muffin Tin Monday theme is "Red". It is the beginning of a color series. If you've ever thought about joining the fun, now is the time! The color themes are simple and so much fun. That being said, I had a hard time coming up with red foods. =) (B picked out the candy at the top). I didn't plan ahead so that is part of the problem, but for next week I'm going to have B help me hunt for orange food at the grocery store. I'm hoping that will help us branch out and try new foods. I can't wait to see the creative meals that everyone else came up with!

  1. I think orange foods are going to be harder. Nice tin.

  2. I agree w/ JDaniel4...orange food is going to be tricky. I'm brainstorming though - love a good challenge. Love that muffin tin!

  3. Yes, the best part of a MTM challenge, for us, is that it encourages the kids to branch out and try new foods! :)

  4. I am looking forward to orange theme. Easier than red. I HATE red dye so we do not have much red things in this house, and I didn't plan ahead so didn't have much red produce here. I think you did great though!

  11. Your tin looks great. I think it is a great idea to have them help shop. You just never know what they will pick out to try. I did this last year at the farmers market with our 5 year old. He chose purple cauliflower. He didn't really like it, but he tried it!
