After making a sensory water bag for baby N, I decided to make a water I-Spy bag for B. I filled it with straws, beads, and foam stickers. He had a good time moving everything around and finding the letters of his name one time, but then never touched it again.
I reinforced the quart sized bag with packaging tape around the edges but it still leaked (I used a gallon size for baby N's and it never leaked). I would recommend double bagging it.
I really appreciated how quick and inexpensive this was to make!
THese look like fun
ReplyDeleteI love your honesty, about how he never touched it again. But I love the idea!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great, and thinks for the leakage warning =)
ReplyDeleteReally great idea, fun to even do at the pool because I know J would just love popping it too!
ReplyDeleteThanks, karen

I love this idea!
ReplyDeleteI made I-Spy bottles for my kids last year. I spent so much time dyeing the rice, finding cute little objects, photocopying the objects so they knew what to look for, and putting it all together. They played with them for about ten minutes and never touched them again. ARGH!
ReplyDeleteThe potential mess that could happen with this terrifies me!
