Disney Tips and Ideas

We just got back from our first trip to Disney World and I wanted to share a few simple tips and ideas that worked for us!

We counted down to our Disney trip with this free countdown printable (I framed it and wrote the number on the glass with a dry erase marker.) and with our 30+ Disney Themed Activities

I bought almost all of our souvenirs ahead of time (from the Disney store during a huge sale) for Mickey to leave for the kids in our room each day. I made this set of Disney themed tags and this set of Disney themed tags to print and put on each gift. They were so excited every morning and it avoided any whining that may have occurred about buying or not buying things in the park stores.

I made this mouse necklace for the kids using 3 washers (1 larger and 2 smaller) and thread. I wrapped the thread around each washer until it was completely covered. Then, I used jewelry wire to connect the ears to the bigger circle and covered the jewelry wire with more thread. Finally, I attached a cord on the necklace using a slip knot. So cute and unique! I was inspired by a mouse necklace at A Creative Princess.

I printed these free Disney Autograph cards from The Sewer, The Caker, The Copycat Maker. There is a special page for almost all of the characters. We had each character sign their page and we made a book with the autographs and pictures when we got home.

I covered mini candy containers with these free, printable Disney Penny Tube Labels (so many to choose from). Inside each one I had 2 quarters and 1 penny layered and ready for the pressed coin machines. It was a fun, inexpensive souvenir and got us into parts of the parks we normally wouldn't have visited. We ended up buying a pressed coin souvenir book to put them in.
