This activity was a fun way to combine colors and counting all at once. I cut and laid out colored pieces of paper (as shown above). B went on a hunt and found 1 black object, 2 yellow, 3 orange, etc. Simple, fun, and quick!
This could also be a great way to introduce fractions by having your child help you cut each piece of construction paper into equal pieces.
How fun!
ReplyDeleteLove your ideas!!
ReplyDeletecolor hunts are so much fun, so simple, but so meaningful!
ReplyDeleteI tried this with my 2 year old and she loved it! Thanks for the fantastic idea!!
ReplyDeleteHave to do this with my little girl. She lacks patience last few weeks with some games. Think it's time for some new games and this one is simple enough and doesn't need much of preparation. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea and especially meaningful because B used objects you have around the home and in daily life.
ReplyDeleteI am excited to try this with my kids :) I can see them working collaboratively on this activity!
