Ice Cream Scoop Game

Materials: ice cream cone printable, bag

Directions: Cut apart the ice cream cones and put the scoops of ice cream in a bag. Each player starts with a cone. Pick a scoop from the bag. If you don't already have that flavor, put it on your cone. If you already have it, put it back in and pass the bag to the next person. The first player to scoop up all four flavors wins! You could also cut out a red circle for a cherry and the winner gets to put a cherry on top.

This game is fun for all ages. Thanks to Highlights Magazine for this great idea!

  4. Making Learning Fun has an icecream cone patterning printable. I used it as a template to make it since at the time my printer wasn't working. We also use the icecream scoops for pregraphing: you can see that here http://theadventuresofbear.blogspot.com/2009/10/pre-graphing-activity.html
