To make this ornament i-spy game I took pictures of different ornaments on the tree and put them into a Word document. Then B hunted for them on the tree and crossed them off when he found them.
Note: Tell your child not to take them down from the tree when they find them, just find them with their eyes.
You could also let your child take the pictures and make an i-spy game for you.
Other Ideas:
Hunt for all of the red ornaments
Hunt for all of the green ornaments
Hunt for all of the ornaments that have words
Hunt for all of the snowflakes
Thank you to Crafts-N-Things for Children for this fabulous idea!

ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea for a Christmas tradition!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. And now that you've got kids occupied with a fun/easy Xmas tradition, engage the adults in a new DIY no cost ritual too? Think of it as "I Spy...but do not buy" (cuz it's the thought that counts anyway, am I right? ;-) http://www.shapingyouth.org/?p=17630
