The Letter B Store
Have your children open a "Letter Store" to practice beginning letter sounds and to have fun with pretend play. Pick a letter, make a sign with that letter, and start setting out items to "sell" that start with that letter.
Our Letter B Store had a book, baby, ball, block, bracelet, bat, and a Boots to sell.
Other Ideas:
*Set out a few items that start with different letters and ask your child to make a sign for each item with the letter that each one starts with. Use sticky notes or magnetic letters.
*Assign a different coin to each letter and practice counting money as you buy different things.

Cute idea!
