It was our neighborhood garage sale this weekend and with a garage sale at our house comes a lemonade stand. The kids love to get everything ready and try to sell it. I love everything they learn from this experience (manners, counting money, teamwork, how to handle it when people say no, etc.) and I also love it because it gives them a focus and purpose for being in the driveway all morning.
This time I was inspired by
International Delight to try something new. We served International Delight's new Iced Coffee in addition to the lemonade. Brilliant!! I always buy lemonade from the kids' stands that I pass by especially at garage sales, but I would much rather have a delicious glass of iced coffee to keep me cool and energize my morning! So this was the perfect combination (lemonade for the kids, coffee for the adults) AND it was really easy to make the table super cute and appealing with the
free, printable signs and decorations that International Delight is offering.
The kids sold more coffee than lemonade. The adults loved it! Wouldn't this be the perfect set up for a fundraiser or to raise money for charity?!
