Ice Cream Cone Christmas Trees

This Ice Cream Cone Christmas tree is perfect to add to your gingerbread house/neighborhoods or to make and eat as a special treat!

What you need:
Sugar cone
Frosting and food coloring
Mini m&ms or other candy

Spread the frosting on an ice cream cone and have your child decorate the tree with candies or sprinkles.

This was the perfect activity to use while I unpacked my groceries yesterday. Somehow it turned into a messy activty, but it was worth it!

  2. So cute! You could also turn it into a color-learning activity for preschoolers ("Can you find a RED one now? How about a BLUE one?"). Love it!

  4. Very cool! I would try it with my son, but I know he would be too busy eating it and licking the frosting...lol!

  5. Ohhh, this is on our Advent calendar for next week! Maddie LOVED it last year. I'm thinking that THIS year, there will be more getting EATEN than getting DECORATED! :)

  6. Yum! This was always my favorite thing to do with my second grade students at their holiday party in December.
