Toddler Activity - Animal Matching

I made this animal matching printable for N (20 months) to work on matching and visual discrimination. If you have a few farm animals at your house, then this simple activity is perfect for you.

Simply put the matching animal on top of each animal card. It took a few practice rounds for N to get the hang of what I wanted her to do and then once she did she had a great time matching all of the animals and then jumping around and clapping in celebration (the celebration was our favorite part).

  1. I like this idea! I was trying to get little man to put colored shapes on colored paper and he just wasn't getting it. Maybe with some more guidance. I'm curious how he'll do with this animal activity.
