If you have extra Halloween stickers (or any extra stickers at all), this is the activity for you!
Use the extra stickers to make cutting strips. Challenge your child to cut in between each sticker. Thinner strips allow your child to be successful at cutting the strip with just one snip and the wider strip (bottom) will challenge your child to cut through the strip with two or three cutting motions.
After your child cuts the strips into pieces, use them for sorting, counting, or patterning.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great activity. It seems so simple, but little ones need practice using scissors that isn't too hard. This one is perfect for beginning scissor users. I'm going to share this on Reddit with the label parenting. I hope a bunch of parents try this out.
