Baby Activity - First Word Flashcards

I saw this idea on how to make your own First Word Flash Cards at seven-thirty-three. Hers are personalized for her son and she also makes a case for them. Too cute! Check them out.
I can't wait to try something like this with N when she is a little bit older. I also think it would be neat to make them in a 4x6 size and put them in a small plastic photo album which will protect them when they end up in her mouth.
Also, check out Little Family Fun: ABC Baby Book! This idea is so neat. I love how she has her child in each picture.
Have you made any first word flashcards or books for your little one? If so, leave a link in the comments section. I'd love to check them out!

  1. Hello! I made a first words book for my daughter when she was about 1 year old. It was so cute to see her at that age pointing and labeling the pictures. Here is the link if you want to check it out:

  3. Thanks for the feature! I had considered getting my sons cards laminated, but they have really held up well (he was a bit older when I gave them to him - no mouthing to worry about). ;)

I have also done a number book for one of my neices as well as my son and had it printed through Snapfish. You can see a few of the pages at the bottom of this post:

  4. I love your idea and the ABC book. I still need to finish a book that I started with my older girls- they took digital photos of things in our neighborhood that looked like letters. I need to get the photos developed. I'm bad about that-starting projects and then procrastinating and starting something new.

    Happy 1st day of Spring!

  5. I've just given you the Beautiful Blogger award. Love your blog, so interesting! I've used one of your ideas for sorting the alphabet and will be posting it sometime this week.
