Fun with Shadows

B has been really into his shadow lately. He loves to watch it "chase him". So we had fun today tracing our shadows. (B's shadow is on the left and B traced mine in pink on the right). For B this experience was just about experimenting with chalk and practicing the skill of tracing (which judging from the picture, he might need a little bit more practice ha ha) but for older kids I can imagine how fun it would be to trace different poses and get creative.

Overall, it was an easy, spur of the moment activity that we really enjoyed!
