I went to a birthday party the other day and my friend had a painting table set up for the kids (brilliant!). At that moment I realized I had never given B the opportunity to experiment with paint (other than watercolor). I must admit I was afraid of the mess BUT once I saw how long B stood there and painted and how much he loved it I ran out and bought the supplies. If you are like me and weren't ready for your child to go crazy with paint (or the mess) yet, give it a try. You will BOTH love it! (Tip: Buy a cheap vinyl tablecloth and cover the chair your child sits in. The paint washes off of everything else!)
